Holding a Bachelor's degree in Digital Art from CUNY Brooklyn College. Previously interned as a Product Designer at Hellas in the insurTech space. Currently pursuing Pratt Institute's Information Experience Design MS degree.

Painting and drawing came naturally to me. I wasn't very talkative as a kid so I was always full of sketches before words — it became a way of expressing myself. When I was in third grade I still remember winning 3rd place at a regional contest for best drawing. I drew my father’s car which was a 2008 black Volkswagen Tiguan at the time. I had a profound interest in depicting my surroundings whether this was an object, portrait or a space.

Over time, I realized that this artistic instinct served as a foundation, however; design taught me to solve problems. What started with observing and illustrating grew into something deeper — a natural empathy for others. It is a part of my personality and the way I approach design.

It wasn't until my last year during my undergrad degree that I discovered my sympathy for the UX process. The ability to connect with other people, getting into their shoes and listening drew me deeply into wanting to further explore UX. I figured that at the end of the day it's not about creating an aesthetically pleasing app, it's about creating something that genuinely responds to the user's needs.
